BW shines at Seatrade Asia Awards

BW Fleet Management won The Tanker Operator Award for the third time at the third Seatrade Asia Awards today, a recognition of BW’s standing in the industry.

BW Group CEO Andreas Sohmen-Pao was also honoured as Seatrade Young Person of the Year. The inaugural award aims to recognise a young individual for outstanding contribution to the maritime industry.

Sohmen-Pao says: "It is an honour to receive this award. I am pleased to represent my company within the industry, but this recognition is of course founded on the collective efforts of my colleagues at the BW Group. We hope to play a positive role in addressing the many challenges facing the industry today, and are thankful for the vote of confidence.”
