Lars V. Mathiasen

Lars V. Mathiasen Senior Vice President, Commercial (Gas) Lars V. Mathiasen joined BW on 1 Sep 2009. Mathiasen has spent over two decades in the shipping industry, most recently as Torm A/S Vice President, Sale & Purchase, Project Division, in Copenhagen. Previously he was Director, Maersk Gas Carriers, and responsible for the fully-ref gas tanker segment. In 1989, he started his career with AP Møller where he first gained his chartering experience in the dry bulk sector. In 2003, he started to specialise in the chartering of gas carriers. Mathiasen, who is from Denmark, holds a graduate diploma in business administration from Copenhagen Business School.
