Rebekah France

Rebekah France Senior Vice President, HR & Communications Rebekah France, born 1974, joined BW (formerly World-Wide) in 2003 as head of HR for BW Shipping. She was promoted to General Manager, Human Resources in February 2005, and was given the Marketing Communications responsibility in addition to her HR role in May 2007. From January 2008 Rebekah held the position of Advisor, People & Communications in a part-time capacity before returning to full time work in June 2009 to take up her current role spanning the BW Gas and Tanker business. Rebekah holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from Delhi University and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD. Prior to starting her career in shipping, Rebekah spent five years in Public Relations handling the Microsoft and Compaq accounts in India. Previously, she has worked in Finance at Kraft Foods Asia Pacific in Hong Kong and in Conference Management for the APEC Conference in Manila. She also has brief experience as a journalist and corporate trainer.
